Why These Books?

As someone who has generally never been a fan of reading books, there have been a good few that I genuinley enjoyed and looked forward to reading. The 4 books that I have listed as completed and the 1 that is in progress are among some of my favorite books I've read. I chose these because even after years has passed since I read some of them I still can remember the smallest details from the storyline, which is not something I can do for most other books.
Most of them represent my curiosity as they range from a wide variety of genres and themes. I am exctied to read the next two I have listed, especially The Harbinger since I have heard many great things said about them. To Kill a Mockingbird was actually one of the books we were supposed to read in my highschool english class, but never got the chance to, and it was many of the students' favorites.
